In response to the ongoing global situation regarding COVID-19, and following local and national government advice, we have made the decision to postpone this year’s Pink Picnic, and all other physical Salford Pride events, until 2021.
We’re exceptionally proud of our volunteers, who have not only worked incredibly hard to prepare for this year’s event, but continued to support us in our contingency planning to move sponsors, acts and suppliers to next year.
Anyone who has bought a pinkPLUS experience will be refunded in the coming weeks. We’d also like to thank everyone who has made a donation at our fundraising events throughout the year, these funds will go towards our events in 2021.
Next year will see us enter our ten year anniversary, and we look forward to welcoming you back to a bigger, brighter and bolder Pink Picnic in June 2021.
Thank you to the community of Salford and Greater Manchester, our entertainers, suppliers and sponsors for continuing to spread love, support and hope, to Salford Pride and beyond. Stay safe, take care of your loved ones and remember to reach out to those who are most vulnerable at this time.
