After the success of our trial peer to peer support sessions, Salford Pride are thrilled to continue the project starting from August 1st. The sessions will be facilitated by Talk About It Mate and will provide a safe, dry social space that is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community in Salford and the surrounding areas. The purpose of the peer support group is to be a welcoming, non-judgemental safe-space, to touch on themes around wellbeing and low level mental health issues. Talk About It Mate has experience of delivering successful projects and peer support sessions across Salford and Greater Manchester.
